Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, one of the most iconic rides at Magic Kingdom, is closing for a scheduled refurbishment starting next week. Known for its thrilling twists, turns, and “wildest ride in the wilderness” experience, this beloved attraction will undergo maintenance to keep it running smoothly for years to come. Disney has not yet announced the expected reopening date, so if you're planning a trip to Walt Disney World soon, be sure to squeeze in one last ride before it temporarily closes! 🦕 DINOSAUR Ride and Dino-Rama Closures Coming Soon
Dinosaur and Dino-Rama closure dates have been announced.
Walt Disney World has officially announced the closure dates for several attractions in Dino-Rama at Animal Kingdom. As of January 13, 2025, several offerings will be closing permanently, including TriceraTop Spin, the Fossil Fun Games, and Chester & Hester’s Dinosaur Treasures. The last day to experience these attractions will be January 12, 2025, after which construction walls will go up for the new Tropical Americas land.
However, DINOSAUR, The Boneyard, Restaurantosaurus, and other nearby offerings will remain open for now. This marks a major transformation in the park, as Disney moves forward with its expansion plans. If you want to experience these Dino-Rama classics one last time, make sure to visit before they go extinct! Read more here.
